The calendar I had previously been using as a coaster informs me that it is St. George's day today. So happy St. George's day to my fellow Englishmen and ladies.

It is also the presumed birth and confirmed death day of Mr. William Shakespeare. If anyone wishes for a sonnet I can't guarantee I can be bothered but you may ask. Aside from a certain someone elses birthday I am at my most generous today.

Right then, it would seem introductions are in order. My name's McNair, I read the information in what is apparently my room and I can't say it makes any sense, but I'll admit it's almost better than what I thought was going on.

I stayed in room 203 when I first arrived here, it looks like someone's been using it, but I just wanted to assure whoever that is that I didn't touch anything. I needed to be alone, or at least I thought I did. I've since left there though, just in case you weren't aware of that fact.

Also - to the young lady that tried to help me when I arrived here I'd just like to apologise for my behaviour. I seem to be fine now and I do hope you'll forgive me.

So me and Ed got to thinking on a way to help those in need of cash for supplies, so we got to rigging a few local of the cash points. Since we got folks from all over you may not seen an ATM before but using them ain’t hard to pick up on. All you need to do is punch the numbers in the keypad tell it how much you want and they spit out the funds. Shiny! Sure theres someone to ask if you get stuck tho so sing out if you need.

We figured to put some distance (plenty of trains that ain’t time travel ones here) and made it to look like the machine is broke so the screens say ‘OUT OF ORDER’. Likely won’t be long before they get fixed up again so keep a watch on the network for new spots.


How’s that sound?

The idea that there are people here from other realities, other times, other planets... it's simply fascinating. I want to learn about all of it, but it's a lot to take in. The mere fact that this train is in New York, after I came from London is a lot to take in just on its own. But, add in that we've traveled through time and I'm just not sure how much more my head can take! However, I can't get enough of it! It's all so fascinating!

What has anyone learned about New York so far? I haven't ventured out yet.

Curious, to say the least. One minute you're getting thrown around by storms, the next you wake up in what looks to be a very unique take on Freighter or shuttle.

Still, there are reasons for everything. Question is, what are the reasons for this? At any rate, I'm not entirely sure where I am but I'll offer up an introduction none the less.

I've found some remains. I say remains rather than body because it's just a pile of ash. But I've seen that before. I can't be sure obviously, but I'm pretty sure it's from a vampire, probably staked, but again I don't know. I couldn't see a weapon but if I'm honest I didn't look that closely. I'm in sleeping car 7 if anyone wants to come and deal with I suppose I'd just suggest they move carefully, try not to create a breeze so as not to disrupt them.
