I cannot be the only one here who has noticed that there is mead to be had in this place. I propose a gathering, in my room, one day hence. I shall provide the mead, other forms of sustenance you may bring yourselves. I should like you all to meet Jane Foster, and it is past time that we, as comrades who have fought together, relaxed together in a paradise such as this.

What say you?

EDIT: Alas, does anyone know in what manner we are to pay for the mead? I fear I have no gold, and the Son of Odin does not receive any favors from the train.

I know a lot of people think that it sucks that we are stuck here but I think it's kind of cool.

Closed to the Avengers Group

For those of you who perhaps did not see the network, Miss Jane Foster arrived two days past. While I am eternally grateful for her presence and company, I am also quite troubled and vexed by the seemingly random nature and incredible power of the train on which we find ourselves. As of yet, we have been untroubled by true evil, but who is to say that tomorrow, a week, or a month hence we shall not find ourselves troubled by Loki, or someone perhaps even more wicked than my fallen brother?

I am well aware that I am not the only one on this train, or even in this group, who has those that they care about who have not our strength and abilities, those whom we would like to see protected should evil befall us.

I believe that we should perhaps formulate some sort of plan to protect our friends and loved ones if we cannot be by their side to do so, as the great arm of S.H.I.E.L.D. does not extend its reach so far as this. For what good are we if our hearts and minds are elsewhere when the time comes to fight?

Considering the sudden and significant increase in passengers over the last week, I was wondering if there would be any interest if I was to offer some classes in first aid?

Um....right.

Would anyone care to explain how S.H.I.E.L.D. moved me again without, you know, me knowing?

While I have no intention to alarm anyone, I did want to inform the train at large that our supply situation is ... well, we have a little bit less than I would like for us to have, especially with the recent influx of people. I've spread the remaining supplies from the baggage car between both the kitchens, but we really are sort of scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The last few stops haven't exactly been conducive to adequate supply gathering.

If those of you venturing out happen to be inclined to search around for any sort of edible fruits or vegetables, that would be lovely. I'm not sure how food in this world (or time?) compares to what we're used to, but I think something is better than nothing.

We're more or less still set on meat for the moment thanks to all the hunting done in Tortuga, so please don't ... kill any dinosaurs for food. Yet We're not quite

If things stick to the usual, we've only got another week or so here anyway. With any luck, the next reality will be better.
