This little contraption is interesting. Is it working?

Excuse me, I am just a bit shaky on my North American geography as of late, but where is Nebraska in relation to Illinois? I seem to have misplaced a train and a fair number of

Individuals

Forgivem e, Im not entirely certain how this silly thing works.

Have you heard any more news about Sherlock? Apparently, John Watson has blacklisted me because he's jealous.

There was a fire last night and some of the tranquillisers I came here with are now missing.

...Are you all right?

[Filtered to John Watson]

All differences aside, Doctor Watson, have you heard from Sherlock Holmes?

I'm pretty sure I fell asleep on the 14:30 to Paddington.

I guess I really shouldn't have.

Since we seem to have gotten another rush of a new crop of several newcomers, I thought I would post another notice about the vaccine syringes the train that showed up in the infirm ten car.

For everyone new, I'm Simon Tam, one of the doctors on the train. To clarify a little so you don't have to dig back through the posts, several syringes arrived in the car we're using as an infirmary, and to the best of our knowledge, they contain a vaccination. We don't know what it's intended to vaccinate against, but the option to take it is there.

If you're interested, just stop by or leave a message and one of us will help you out. Even if you're new, the ... odds are good there's one here for you. There were more in the basket this morning, so I can only assume they'll continue to show up as new arrivals do.

I'm not entirely sure how currency or money works on this train, but as someone who provides a professional service, I feel I ought to extend the opportunity to take advantage of such service to...anyone here. And don't worry about money, really. I've always been a firm believer in the barter system, however payment is required upfront and all terms agreed upon between me and potential clients before hand.

And I promise you, I'm very discreet.

Mr. Forrest James was brutally murdered in his office, stabbed through the back while he stood in front of his desk, facing the wall. Scotland Yard, as per usual, was having one hell of a time trying sort out the murder and so they consulted consulting detective Sherlock Holmes.

Detective Inspector Lestrade had already taken the time to interview Mr. James' perky little secretary Alice Joseph, and this is the information he relayed to Sherlock Holmes about that interview.

1. There were no fingerprints on the knife found in the dead man's back.

2. There was a coffee stain on the rug (fresh) but Mr. James didn't drink coffee and there was no container for it in the room. (Lestrade suggested this must have occured during the struggle that resulted in the man's death.)

3. Alice had in her visit book just three announcements: Marcus Fowler (1:15), Eric Bernard (2:00) and Roger Melan (3:30). Apparently, the last appointment (Roger) was the only one of the three men to serve himself coffee in a paper cup.

4. The paper cup was found in Alice's waste bin, the only set of fingerprints on it belonging to Roger.

5. Forrest's wristwatch was broken, probably due to the fight, and it showed the time at 3:50.

Sherlock immediately told Lestrade who the murder was, based on this information...

can you?
