Maker's breath, I just saw a griffon. There are griffons out there! All the griffons were extinct in Thedas. I can scarcely believe what I saw!

How I long to be near one, even if it tried to rip me apart. They meant a great deal to the Grey Wardens from back when and I'd consider each gash and tear to be new scars worth treasuring! Unless they're intelligent like the ones in Thedas were, then I might enjoy a chat with one.

Forgivem e, Im not entirely certain how this silly thing works.

So if I found an unraided guns and ammo store in Calgary, is this something I should be announcing? Or taking orders or something? I know we all hate the idea of arming the train because then we'll all shoot each other, but honestly, I am all for people without magic being armed in case a native tries to get us all sick.

And I don't know anything about Muggle guns, so you'll have to be super specific. If the train has pictures in its database thing, include those. Some of them are in boxes though, so that's at least easy. And whatever ... number bullets we need.

Um, I'm not sure where to start at all. Bit overwhelming, all of this, bit much to take in. I don't even know what to say...or where to start. I'm Richard, everyone. I'm...well, if anyone would like to know I'm an actor -- best known for a Storytelling series I did (won a BAFTA for it too, not that I'm not to brag). I was just a minute ago having my morning porridge and now I'm here! I'll treat anyone who can tell me what's happening to a pint and the promise of a good conversation, if you like!

Hello. I should introduce myself. I am Piotr Rasputin. I arrived on the train last night. I am curious to meet you all, and know who is trapped on this thing with me.

The device is taking some getting used to but here goes nothing I think.

I'm Sidney aka one of the recently dumped onboard. Still trying to get used to the idea of a train jumping times but then this is nothing, let's just say I've seen worse on who knows how many levels. But I did make a small scale run to a mini mart so hopefully I did not mess up how things were set up storage wise (I guessed at most and moved a few packs of water around). Figured junk food would be useful mostly.

And since I've noticed all the times onboard via reading the network I'll add in mine: 1997 Califorina. So it looks like I have a lot to learn.

So, assuming the device isn't lying, we have roughly four days left here. I'd like to start picking up the perishable foods to stock the fridge and freezer soon, maybe in a couple of days. If anyone's interested in helping out with that, I've created a couple of lists. We do have significant sums of cash, thanks to all the broken cash machines around town ;) so I don't imagine we'll have to steal any of it.

Since we don't know how long we'll be traveling again once we start, or that there will be anything like this when we do stop again, I'd like to err on the side of caution and have the kitchen full to bursting of food. If there's overflow of non-perishables (like bottled water and canned goods and the like), I think storing it in the baggage car's the way to go. Even with the washing equipment in there, there should be sufficient room.

I've also had a bit of fun in a cookware store, so we have all manner of new pans and pots that should be big enough to handle our larger crowd.

If anyone can think of anything else, please don't hesitate to suggest it.
