WW2 aside, I think I’ll miss 1943. Or at least I’ll miss the friends I made. Just as I missed my friends here while I was away.

I’m sorry if my absence caused any concern. Both myself and Krypto are back from our time and multiverse travels. For once I’m not entirely convinced that the portal was to blame for our sudden dispersal to different times and places. But I’m sure the science and magic teams are investigating.

Summer colds are the worst. It’s too hot to curl up in bed and sleep it out. I’m a mucus factory 🤧

Maybe I caught a chill in the Alps? Nothing’s different here though… so I didn’t change anything.

1) Welcome to my first and hopefully only underaged hangover.

2) Only-son Thor knows how to throw down.

3) Seeing a giant blue Loki wasn't on my bucket list, but I'm not mad about it.

4) Seeing Carol Danvers go head to head with Thor was also not on my bucket list, but I loved every glimpse I got.

5) I'm gonna go find about five hundred bottles of pain killers and twice as much Gatorade, and THEN I'm gonna sleep for about a week.

I have a whole laundry list of things I would be very happy to complain about, but I think this sums it up nicely:

National ice cream day couldn't have come any sooner honestly. The pint of cookie dough in the freezer is speaking to me.

The science lab is still operational. Things won't change. Even if it is quiet. Here for all your science needs.

The beach might not be the most relaxing place for me anymore. Not after walking the length of it for hours before being able to leave it finally.

I'm not enjoying this uptick in portal activity. Some very dear and respected people were on the list this time.

So I get the feeling we all need a distraction. Maybe to stop from worrying about our space cadets, or maybe to hit pause on freaking out about all the inadvertent time escapades. Or just take a break from the lab/computer/bureaucracy we’re entrenched in.

The weather’s decent and the beach is right there at New Asgard. I’m thinking a friendly volleyball tourney. Kenny Loggins soundtrack optional but strongly encouraged.

My playlist keeps calling me out, I don't appreciate it.

I forgot how unusual artificial gravity felt. Not having been aboard a spacecraft or station in over a year. Travelling sub light takes forever, so I expect we’ll be away for most of the month.
