It seems that some of the Fourth of July celebrations have already begun. The fireworks at night are spooking my dog.

Had a bit of spare time and got to browsing...it's Pride month. I've never really done anything with that before, but it turns out entire cities have parades and festivals for it.

I certainly need more practice in artistry. While I can make delightful recipes, my skill with a piping bag and paintbrush needs improvement. I saw this wonderful recipe online (which is absolutely the most amazing tool when it comes to gathering new ideas for treats for my shop)... but when I attempted, they came out...

Working late on Sunday night again. I was crunching numbers in the Science Lab, and I went down to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee, since I know it's going to be a long night... There was a terrible smell. Did someone destroy the microwave with fish and vinegar? It smells... burnt. Like burnt popcorn and hot sauce and tuna that's gone very, very bad.

Should we open some windows? Air this place out? Tell me that Stark has some super ventilation system, or something.

In case anyone was wondering, red portals can't be frozen. Which means the energy behind them is something other than elemental.

My phone tells me it's a week until one of the drunkest days of the year.

Managed to just sit outside with an audio book today for an hour...which is progress compared to lately. With the not going out at all. Saw a glimpse of a red portal. I can't do red portals, or anything to them. Only blue portals. Nothing I tried had any effect on it before it disappeared.

Hello, everyone. You would not believe the things I have seen during my travels. Dear friends, there are wonders untold in the depths of this world. Really remarkable. All I wish is for you to have a chance to see it someday.

I think the portal has a thing against archers. Or the route between range and kitchen is just jinxed. Like Clint, it just took me five hours to travel between the two. Kind of loathed to leave the range now I'm finally here, even if my coffee is ice cold.
