Multiverse of Madness

I know things are a bit weird, but for our Chanukkah celebrating folks I thought I might put out some feelers to see if anyone wants potato latkes? I'm not an expert, this would be a first. but maybe it'll help some of you feel included. We try to be inclusive here. Also open to just anyone who wants to try fried potato goodness.

All these Christmas movies are the same. Girl finds guy who's new in the city in flannel who rescues her from bad or boring life style. Any guys in flannel out there want to Tell me why I am watching these? One set in New York, one set in Seattle. Only different one is the one set in Korea, and even that one is the same premise.

I guess I'm a masochist because these movies are pain. And yet here we are.

Soo. I've been thinking of a way to track the red portals. All portals leave behind a sort of signature, even the reds. I've been hesitant to really delve into them because well...Been a bit gun-shy with anything HYDRA related. Considering what we're up against though I think it's necessary to at least aide in building something in regards to it to hopefully put an end to it. Portals are kind of a specialty. I can't get a lock on them with my powers alone, so we need to build something to do so. I'm going to need assistance from you all to get it done.

Fitz emailed me some notes about a device he's been making. Figure we could all lend a hand and finish the creation?

Normally this is the time I'd regroup, survey the troops, formulate plans to be better prepared for the next time something like this comes along. I'd be putting together training schedules and running scenarios, throwing myself into the work.

Haven't had much chance to do any of those things, I've been putting out fires from the comfort of my living room. Thankfully, telephones work here, too.

That being said, if anyone is willing to recount their version of the events, I'll be collecting personal stories for the official record.

So I know I said we needed to stick together, but we really need to now.

There's got to be something more we can do about these portals. Is there no way of tracking them? We know by the fluctuation in the energy signature when someone comes through the main portal we have at the Facility. It sounds like the Red Portals have a different energy signature. Have we been able to trace it? We've got the best minds in the god damn universe here. We're better than these damn portals. We should be able to figure this out.

Working late on Sunday night again. I was crunching numbers in the Science Lab, and I went down to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee, since I know it's going to be a long night... There was a terrible smell. Did someone destroy the microwave with fish and vinegar? It smells... burnt. Like burnt popcorn and hot sauce and tuna that's gone very, very bad.

Should we open some windows? Air this place out? Tell me that Stark has some super ventilation system, or something.

I'm having a harder time sitting still than normal lately. Another effect of the Red Portals?

Sooooooooo, I just saw a car go through a portal. A WHOLE CAR. With people inside. I really hope there are roads where they went, because it was not a 4x4.

Registered for the local college to take a couple classes. This place isn't entirely like Gotham, have extra time on my hands in spite of also working at the Agency. Maybe I'll find whatever it is I'm looking for but can't seem to something I like. Kind of a last minute decision but I'd been browsing some of the psychology courses for criminal profiling. I start next semester.

... I missed my own birthday. I only just realized. I blame being sent to Middle Earth for months (since I technically had my birthday there? Maybe). And I'd only just got back from Wakanda on my actual birthday. Well anyway: 17 now!

I'm bored out of my mind. You'd think time being messed up would keep my attention. I started looking at the possibility of opening an at risk youth center, give me something to keep my mind occupied and something that seems to be needed in the city.

I bought a building and it's just sitting there.

I got to see the world after my death and the consequences of my actions. It feels like I'm being visited by Ebeneezer Scrooge's ghosts. First Vormir and then seeing what happened afterward. What next?

So, a few minutes ago, I was definitely still in bed, sleeping in, because that's what I do.

It's like I blinked and I was part of the way to Sally's. I don't remember leaving the house.

I seem to have slipped into the habit of watching movies when I can't sleep. There are a lot which were never made on my earth. Most of them in fact. I'm currently working my way through Hitchcock's filmography. Rear Window will be tonight if anyone wants to join, say eight o clock.
