So, last night we ran some tests on the portal. Our findings are that people can return to this point in time. I was able to do so with the anchor we built to return to this place. Took a few tries, but we should be able to program it as an anchor for multiuse. I can't control where the portal goes, I can only come back here to this place.

So someone told me there were Sunday night dinners here. What do I have to do to sign up to cook? This may not be home, but on a Sunday at the end of August, season's ending? This is the time for home cooking.

I've been approached to run some portal tests. Someone come help me make an anchor?

Friday the 13th came and went yesterday. Whenever we have a Friday the 13th, it reminds me of pranks played on us when I was in college: There was a fella who lived in my dormitory who used to play horror movies on the screen in the commons. He would play elaborate pranks with his friends from the theater department, where they'd run screaming through the room covered in blood, or brandishing fake steak knives and other weapons. It was startling and terrifying, but also hilarious. Since then, I've never been able to watch a horror movie without a certain level of anxiety--waiting for the Freshman with the chainsaw to come crashing into the room.

Though, I think maybe I could give it a try. Does anyone have a favorite, recent, scary movie to recommend?

Can people who aren't students get access to books in university libraries or do I have to make myself a student ID or something?

With the school year fast approaching, and the growing number of students who are walking through the portal field everyday, the Wakandan Consulate is proud to announce that it has allotted funds to purchase school supplies for any student (ages 5 - 21) currently enrolled in a school setting and residing within the areas of the Wakandan Consulate, Avengers Compound, and New Asgard.

Additionally, any student of High school or college age that is enrolled in a STEM course will be give access to the first floor labs, materials at the discretion of our Academic Advisor, and our computer banks.

Okay, so let me get this straight. You've got people from the past and future all living together in this year. Not to mention you've got people from multiple different timelines to boot. Variants, just running around.

I mean, it's okay, it's okay. Just, you know, grappling with learning everything I used to think was how things worked is a lie. But that's okay. This is all perfectly fine. Normal even. Who even knows what normal is anymore?!

King Loki of Asgard seems concerned about the safety of his settlement. I have offered to spare some of our generals to train his people in some defensive skills. It would not be entirely like the training that we put our Soldiers through, but I will happily devise a course and schedule for them.

If you desire, I could extend the same training to those in the Compound, but with all the heroes, I doubt they will need it.

Is all the housing here like this? Lots of light and space and air? It's different than the castle and the citadel. I thought maybe it was only the compound but I think here has even more of it all. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to fill in the extra space or if that's how it's meant to be. I'm sort of glad it's just me in this apartment though. I think the last few days in the compound and a few times with my sister before I met the other Defenders were the only times I've really shared space like that.

People on the internet talk about movies and tv shows a lot. What's most important to watch if I want to understand them? I got some notebooks for different things I'm figuring out and the one about normal people isn't going very well.

It is getting crowded here. I've been jumping back and forth between my lab and the portals. There must be an easier way. Mag-lev trains between the embassy and the compound.

Maybe I shouldn't have waited so long to try this, but is there anybody here who knows the Doctor? Tall nutter in a suit and trainers, crazy hair, not an Earthling, travels in a big blue box that sounds like its been smoking since childhood.

Also, if there's any way to contact him, he'd probably be able to help with the current problems. Probably solve all of it before the day is done.

Also, if I'm a Wakandan now, when do I get to see the place?

So I'm utterly new to this whole "aliens", "superheroes", "space" world, but can someone please explain Wakanda to me?

I'm weighing my options on staying there for a bit.

I know it's a country. I've done my research there. But what is their interest here? No offense to His Majesty or anyone else. I'm merely curious.

I don't know if this could be important to know, but from what I've seen I don't think I'm in just a different universe. Our entire multiverse is inside... a cosmic artifact, I suppose, and I think somehow I've gotten outside of it. The last time anyone came in or out they needed to use the power of even more of the artifacts to do it.

For those who didn't get a chance to see them off, the space launch went off this morning without a hitch. Big thanks to Shuri for helping with that.

Everything is coming up roses for that so far. Carol's promised to keep us updated throughout.

In the meantime, we might have bigger problems another development. It looks like Leia Organa has gone missing. There was a minor blip from the portals earlier today. We're looking into it.
