Is all the housing here like this? Lots of light and space and air? It's different than the castle and the citadel. I thought maybe it was only the compound but I think here has even more of it all. I think the last few days in the compound and a few times with my sister before I met the other Defenders were the only times I've really shared space like that.

Okay, so I've jumped forward in time by a few years, and I'm trying to catch up on all the Netflix stuff. Like, in my world we had House of Cards. That's it.

Oh, wow. This isn't my first experience with alternate worlds but this is definitely new! Also, this is a pretty fancy set up you've got here!

My name is Kara Danvers. I'm from National City, but I'm not from there, originally. I'm a from a planet called Krypton. It was destroyed when I was thirteen years old. I was sent to Earth in a pod to protect my baby cousin, Kal-El, but it knocked off course, and when I finally arrived on Earth, I was still thirteen, and my cousin was all grown up and making a name for himself as a hero and protector of Earth.

Earth's yellow sun grants me a lot of special powers and abilities that come naturally to my species when we're on a planet with yellow sun radiation. Normally, I wouldn't share this with people I've just met, but from what I was told when I was arrived, I've been told that there's a lot of people here, with all kinds of different abilities, so I feel comfortable saying this. I've spent years learning to master my powers, and I can guarantee that I have them completely under control.

And one more thing, back where I'm from, I'm a hero known as Supergirl. I've saved the world and the multiverse a couple of times, either by myself, with my family, or with my friends. I'd like to still help here, too. I don't like the idea of just sitting by waiting around while I'm here, and I've been told that there's a team that helps with similar things, so I'd maybe like to join them, if possible? But I understand not trusting someone from another universe that's just arrived, so if I need to take it slow, and just stick to helping out around some other way, I can.

But yeah! Thanks to everyone for their hospitality and being so welcoming to me. I hope to make friends with all of you!

It feels good to be back on earth, even if real gravity is a little odd after the artificial stuff. I made a friend while I was away. Other than my shipmates, I mean. Trying to coax him out of his spacesuit is taking longer than I thought it would, but I can’t wait for him to stretch his legs and enjoy a good walk around the grounds.

Okay, I'll spill. Looks like we're getting an expansion in the next week or two. Took a while to make t official, but thanks to T'Challa and the Wakandans you all should be able to take a breath away from each other soon.

I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Ahsoka Tano, and it's my understanding that most beings from Earth have not seen anyone like me. By that, I mean my species. I'm a Torgruta I'm from another galaxy, one that's seen its fair share of tyranny and despots. I'm what some might call a Jedi. I grew up in the Jedi Temple, and then when I was fourteen, I became the padawan learner to a Jedi Knight, and I was commander of the Galactic Republic's 501st battalion during the Clone Wars. After that, our galaxy was ruled by a Sith Lord name Darth Sidious who squeezed the people to the point that some rebelled. I understand that some of you may have met Leia Organa. Bail Organa, her father, was one of my closest friends and helped me to establish the Rebel Alliance.

Like I said when I got here my specialty is trauma, particularly stemming from violent conflicts and captivity, and reintegration, but I've been told I give good advice in general and I'm always happy to just listen. Don't worry if you catch me studying, I got my EMT-P relicensing exam scheduled for next month.

I'm also a certified peer counselor, and when I get my license renewed, a paramedic, so I'm available if anyone needs help getting used to things here. I've been told I should get on this device and post more of my thoughts in order to communicate with other people on here. I'm not entirely sure what to say about what has been happening, but I think I can sum up my most recent thoughts in one sentence:

I don't like losing friends without having a chance to say goodbye.

I feel a bit useless--I wish there was more I can do. This isn't the kind of thing a person can punch.

I can punch a punching bag, though. I'll be in the gym if anyone needs me.

Finished and turned in my last paper.

Now I just have to take my AP exams, then finals, then I'm done. I can't believe I'm almost done.

I plan on exploring Gotham one more time, even if I feel like it's not my Gotham. Does anyone want me to bring something back?

So, we lost a few people if you all don't already know. Natasha Romanoff, Eddie Diaz, Sam Winchester, and Grace Ryder went missing. Not sure what happened, trying to figure it out.

We know there was a surge from the portals. They were all in different parts of the facility. One second they were here, the next they're not.

Currently, the theory is this is a similar event to what brought them here in the first place. This means, hopefully, they're back home...

Second, as there is now a pretty good group of us arriving, I was thinking that it might be a good idea for us to maybe do something that would bring people together and make it a little bit easier to settle in, especially since it can be frightening to suddenly find yourself in a new place like this. I know that Darcy has a game night in the works, but would anyone maybe be interested in doing something Sunday dinners? I don't mind cooking for a large group of people, but maybe someone could take turn making the entre, and then the rest of us could help out with side dishes. Or we could do something along the lines of potluck, where everyone makes a dish, and we all partake.

I would also be willing to teach anyone who's maybe interested in learning how to cook, as it is a pretty useful skill to have.
