Multiverse of Madness

I have a feeling there are a lot of us around here who are going to be lonely this holiday season. A lot of our friends were sent back through the Portal, and that leaves many of us with holes in our hearts. Not sure anything in the world will be able to fill such a hole, but at least we don't have to go through it all alone.

So here's my suggestion: We put together a calendar of activities for many of the nights leading through December and into January--movie nights, dinners, games, etc.--and all are welcome to attend.

Hey, so, (not-so-)funny story. I showed up for work this morning and got told I don't work there? Like, at all. Ever. Which is lies because I've worked in that store for weeks now. Bit frickin' weird, right?

Steven is Dr Steven Grant from London, Egyptologist (lecturer in Archaeology and Ancient Languages at Cambridge university, goes off on lots of digs and field trips which is handy) and Avatar of Khonshu, Egyptian god of the Moon and the Night Sky. Marc Spector is a fictive alter of Dr Grant, who's an explorer! He's just recently found out that he is ALSO an Avatar of Khonshu, and that is the Best Thing. He's like Rick from The Mummy, only a bit more up to date. Please, confuse the absolute frick out of them!]

With both Eliot and Magnus gone, the future of Threshold is kind of up in the air. All of Eliot's wards are also gone, so everyone can get into everything now. Management is currently being maintained by someone from Stark's entertainment division (I had no idea that was a thing until recently, but it's a thing), but I'm sure Eliot and Magnus would have loved it if it was being handled by one of our own.

tl;dr: Anyone have any interest in running a nightclub?

In lieu of a Halloween party this year, since it's so hard to when all your friends disappear... after Trick or Treating is done, I'm going to celebrate my birthday with watching Rocky Horror Picture Show, and anyone is welcome to join me.

In the absence of certain individuals in our community, it has come to my attention that Threshold has not opened for business this week. I found myself in desire of a delicious cocktail I did not make myself and was unable to obtain it on familiar ground, which is obviously troubling for more reason than one.

I have a key (thank you, Jace anonymous benefactor) and have breached the wards and would like to at least keep some weekend hours while its owner is away. However, bartending for crowds is not my favorite, and I did not have a husband and a five-year-old the last time I was running a club. Anyone else looking for some work-like distraction from current circumstances, please apply here.

Alternately, if you want to quickly figure out how to get back our missing people, I'll take that instead.

Two explosions. 14 minutes..Like it's broken. Pounding in my head every 14 minutes and 23 seconds.

I saw a green flash. Not sure if it's in my head or not.

Please be advised there is an emerging situation happening at the Lighthouse.

At 20:37, the seismic sensors registered a low level tremor consistent with a detonation located at the Lighthouse coordinates. The event repeated minutes later.

Eyewitnesses in the area have described an explosion that levels the Lighthouse, but couldn't get closer. They said a green flash of light accompanied every reset. I've sent a team to establish a perimeter and ask that no one goes near until we find out more. Tony is sending in people to make sure the public and the media stays out of this. Team Science, I'd love you to weigh in.

I'll keep everyone updated as I can. So far, we can't raise communications inside. If you've been living and/or working in the Lighthouse, please check in here, let us know you're okay.

Has anyone ever heard of 'Summerween'? Sounds like a fun idea (though to be fair, sometimes it's just Halloween all year round for me). But we just happen to have a haunted house, so it just sounds like a great excuse for a party!

I feel like I've been going nonstop for months. These red portals are a lot. I'm doing my best to be a good Science Team Intern, but sometimes I feel like dead weight I'm not making much of a difference.

I need to do something to turn my brain off. Video games? Anyone want to join me?

Working late on Sunday night again. I was crunching numbers in the Science Lab, and I went down to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee, since I know it's going to be a long night... There was a terrible smell. Did someone destroy the microwave with fish and vinegar? It smells... burnt. Like burnt popcorn and hot sauce and tuna that's gone very, very bad.

Should we open some windows? Air this place out? Tell me that Stark has some super ventilation system, or something.

So, apparently we're fostering two droids and a robot, @Mortuary Fam. I found BB-8, D-O, and PONG on my way home from New Asgard this morning, and after trying a few hundred times to reach Tim or Poe, I've reached the super fun conclusion that the guys have NOT shacked up in the optimal Love Shack variety, and have, in point of fact, been Red Portal-napped.

tl;dr - Tim and Poe have gone the way of the red portal. (I'm pretty sure.)

Did anyone see them this morning? I don't know when they may have been taken.

Writing personal statements sucks. The one I wrote back in Hawkins doesn’t really hold up here. But Miss Potts managed to make my transcripts look half decent, so I’m halfway to NYU.
