Still not sure what clipped me when I was out flying just now, but I saw a really vague shadow on the water just before it happened. Please excuse the rather sizeable dent in the beach. I promise to fill it back in once my ears stop ringing.

I'm finally back, and now there's no Eliot (thanks, red portal) and really no Margo. That's just freaking great.

Eyewitnesses in the area have described an explosion that levels the Lighthouse, but couldn't get closer. They said a green flash of light accompanied every reset. I was a liiiittle bit of a failure about posting the events we had for Independent Bookstore Day, but we still have a lot of specials and giveaways in the shop if anyone wants to stop by this week.

I know everyone is still kind of stressed about the portals and everything, so the timing isn't great. Any excuse to treat yourself, right?

Okay! So! I feel like it's now my personal mission to inform you all of random days and celebrations throughout the year.

Today is Independent Bookstore Day! So go out and find an independent bookstore and buy a book! Support the little person. Any recommendations for independent bookstores are most welcome.

Working late on Sunday night again. I was crunching numbers in the Science Lab, and I went down to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee, since I know it's going to be a long night... There was a terrible smell. Did someone destroy the microwave with fish and vinegar? It smells... burnt. Like burnt popcorn and hot sauce and tuna that's gone very, very bad.

Should we open some windows? Air this place out? Tell me that Stark has some super ventilation system, or something.

I hate to add bad news to bad news, but I just saw Clark and Karli get pulled into a portal from across the street. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough to keep either of them from it.

This is maddening.
