Multiverse of Madness

So, I know rats are smart, but like not usually smart enough to talk.

Barry and Alfred were very chatty this morning at breakfast. Asking where Babs, Steph and Wally went. Why Tim and I came back, when they haven't.

It's kind of exhausting, they're very nosey.

Uh. If anyone's looking for me in my office I'm not there because... it's missing. The whole room. Door to the quiet room's there, door to the office next door, big gap in between. Someone scientific or magical might want to look at that.

I had to take a visit to the portal room today. Security said there was an iguana looking for me, or rather una iguana de apoyo emocional. Her words, not theirs. She speaks Spanish. She'd been in the portal room for a few days, but just started talking now and wanted me to come get her. I met her in Peru but she didn't talk then.

I've got a dog now.

And apparently he talks, so that's a thing.

I've never seen Alya as elated as she was today when she came across a talking puppy on the way back from school. I don't think she knows yet that there are other talking animals...but let me know if anyone has a pet who'd like to play with an eager four-year-old. It might save us me us from having to get her one of her own....

I should be concerned that I don't find this whole thing nearly as strange as I should.

My goodboy Clint told me I could talk into this thing he's always looking at, and it would make words people could see. But you can't see words, they're just sounds. Goodboy Clint took me out to the big park in the loud big place and we ran and ran and he gave me a hot dog, because he's a goodboy and now we're back at new home, but I still miss old home sometimes because this place smells funny. He said he would give me pizza, because I'm the bestboy, and then we're going to see bestgirl Kate later, because I love her.
