Who exactly is this Thanos?

Are there books about magic here? The internet suggests magic doesn't exist, but I know there are people here who can do it. They don't need to be in English either. I can read Russian (slowly) and Romanian, and of the magical languages Cthonic, Latin and several others, before getting into translation spells. I already have to start over taking notes on what I know about chaos magic, I really need to keep studying the other things. Also I just don't really have much else to do.
