Her favourite is a ribbon that entwines red and green with gold and silver embroidery. Although they have now done away with houses at Hogwarts, it still reminds her of their own union and she keeps it in a special place, with that old red satin ribbon that her grandmother bought her. The ribbon of her childhood and the ribbon her last beau and true love lie snuggling together as bookmarks in an old copy of Walter Scott's poetry.
