Let me just say this about my idea: Since they couldn't use Dementors anymore and had a bit of a lack of staff problem after the war, the Ministry had the magnificent idea to establish the Volunteer Warden System. The VWs can do with the prisoners whatever they want as long as everybody survives. This, of course, serves two different purposes: The Ministry don't have to send official wardens there, and the Wizarding community can take revenge on the captured prisoners and get rid of their bad feelings.
