Sooooo thirsty. Why did I go into the ocean this morning? Now I look like this and all I want to do is drink everything. Also it was holy crap freezing, hello Atlantis maybe think about the weather before pushing out these urges.

I am placing notice in support of Lieutenant Commander Kirk's resolution to "fuck work" today. A long weekend upon the beach sounds rather relaxing and that is where I will be until our Quidditch match this weekend, should any require my assistance. I would prefer that assistance being something fun or relaxing, should there be any choice in the matter.

Should anyone wish to help with a fire, perhaps we can roast meat to share.

There a proper way to eat these little chocolate and creme biscuits? Or just an each to their own kind of thing? Found a plate of them in the kitchen here at the station and I've just been sitting here, eating each one a different way because each person who comes in says their way is best. Never would've thought there was a right way or wrong way to do it, but I've been wrong before. Maybe once before.

Just a rundown of what's already been done:

1. Pull apart and lick off the creme first, then eat the chocolate pieces
b. Peel off the creme and eat it, then the chocolate pieces
III. Twist and eat the half that still has the creme, then the other
Four, Dunk in some milk and eat it slightly soggy
‣ Make separate piles of chocolate bread halves and creme and then make one biscuit with multiple cremes

(I don't like making lists) - yet I'm just fascinated by these, half the fun is figuring out new ways to eat them.

Bethany, I think I'm close. What little testing I've done using the small samples of lyrium I have on hand have shown promise. Your blood contains a very pervasive biological agent, which is what you've come to know as the taint. It's stubborn and invasive, but treatable. I've attempted numerous approaches, but working with the trace amounts of lyrium combined with my nanites has shown real promise of success.

With your permission, I'd like to see about pulling in a person or two with skills in organic chemistry. I believe I can synthesize lyrium, or at least the processed version since we don't have the raw material to work with. I've narrowed down a number of properties from my tests and I fully believe we can duplicate the effects with a bit of experimentation and an infusion of your world's fade magic. Can any of your companions from your world harness the magic of the fade? If so, I would like their help as well.

I will also be communicating with the rest of the medical team as we get closer to refining the process, as a skilled team will be key to beating this. Please get back to me with any questions or feedback on my data above.

Woke up way too early this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Apparently I needed to think about every major decision I've ever made and whether or not I made the right choice. Now I'm weighing the benefits of just getting up and starting the day versus trying to get more sleep -- after all, it's Friday -- and what kind of coffee would be the best option if I do. I could make some headway on my next book, though now that I'm thinking about it, I should probably rewrite a bit of it because there's a few things that could probably flow a bit better.

Okay, getting up. Brain won't shut up.

My Queen! I woke up this morning from a dream about Tristan. He was helping me do a show in Las Vegas (in the dream) and when I woke up, I missed him dearly. Did you know he was there to photograph my very first time on stage? I have the photo on my dresser, it came through when I decided to stay. Probably because it's never been anywhere BUT Atlantis.

Anyway, I know he's a baby right now, so it's not like we can hang out. And you've got plenty of people able to babysit, so I was wondering.. I mean in this timeline, you and I are pretty close in age, I think. Do you maybe want to be friends? I promise not to spoil you on things he did growing up or things in your own future (because I don't want to risk changing it).

It's been an interesting morning. On my way to the training grounds, the fountain that I normally pass was no longer turned off or frozen. It was instead processing flowing chocolate, which I certainly hope isn't just what Atlantis decided to do with all of the unsold chocolate after Valentine's. Following that, there was a vendor with a cart selling mint and chocolate milkshakes further along my path. I sense a theme.

I feel I've become rather attached to the idea of your ship, when the weather warms. Which is to say that I'm happy to join you in the impatient waiting. Do you have plans this evening? I fear before the day is through, I will be over-chocolated if that is possible. I was thinking a light spar, followed by a greasy dinner and drinks at a bar, followed by a different kind of spar if you were interested.

I've had a request brought to my attention regarding specialized training for powered individuals. While I firmly believe that it's best that powered and unpowered agents and specialists are best when mixed and able to supplement each other, I can't argue the benefit of giving superpowered people an opportunity to cut loose against targets that would otherwise be fairly deadly. Mind, this would certainly be something of a stand-up brawl more than anything else, and I'd have no issues with allowing non-powered but extremely gifted agents an opening to join in. This seems perfectly suited to the Danger Room.

However, I'd appreciate your thoughts and feedback. Suggestions are also welcome.
