Save Atlantis RPG

One advantage to being pregnant at Halloween is that there are all sorts of costumes out there that work with a large belly. I decided to keep things simple though and bought this. A little nod to my past life. I could have just gone with a pumpkin suit but I can't see me dressed as an entire pumpkin.

...I dunno if it's weird that I want to stay. I don't even know if I'll be allowed to, because- that might cause a paradox? And if I'm born eventually I'll grow up and it'll be weird? I'm just gonna miss everybody how it is now.

I can only assume this is an Atlantis thing, but I woke up this morning with an urge to infuse vodka. I've got about half a dozen bottles now with a variety of fruits, so I think we might just have to have some kind of party in a few days, because I definitely can't drink all of this vodka without some help.

Somehow, I also suspect I'm not the only one doing this.

I am so glad that the fighting is over and not just because I got to come home. I'm not used to not being in the middle of things but I know it was the best thing for me and the baby. Who is getting bigger every day and loves to dance on my bladder. Which is way too much information and I apologize.

Then there is the house, I never had a real home until I came here, I always drifted from place to place depending on what work I was doing so having a place to call home is wonderful. It's not just the house though, it's the fact that my home is my family which is another thing I never thought I'd have. Cassian, our children, it all feels like a miracle and I am very grateful for it.

I don't think I can even put into words what it means to know that the world I come from isn't going to happen.

It still hasn't completely sunk in yet, and I suppose it will take some time, but there is a hope now that I'm not sure I've ever truly felt.

Thank you to everyone who put their lives on the lines, and those who gave theirs for the future here and in all our worlds.

I never thought I'd say "I'm going to attend a university in Atlantis" but here we are.

I've been staring at this course catalog for days, trying to figure out how many classes I can take in one semester. Trying to figure out WHAT I should take. How does anyone ever decide on a path when they don't even know how long they'll be here and the information they learn is probably useless back home because they won't even remember? (That is how it works, right? Because otherwise we'd completely alter the fabric of reality.) (More than we already have?) (This stuff gives me a headache.) Do you just pick something that'll be useful here? How useful is French here, anyway? I can probably test into higher levels of classes if I'm already fluent in a language or three, right?

Hey y'all. I can't seem to sleep tonight. Too man So, I was thinking -- any Dauntless up for a round of Capture of the Flag? I'm thinking two teams, two flags, the entirety of Atlantis as the playing field? Might even invite some of you other Factions in, if you promise to play by the rules.

Regardless of whether Atlantis is a myth, I'm not sure what good a tailor like me is going to be in a war.

This has been one of the weirdest weekends of my life. And that's saying something, because my life has been really weird lately. And not just "weird for the middle of nowhere Indiana," because that's kind of a low bar. I mean like, legitimately weird. But that's a long story.

So we're going on a boat bitch and we'll be going back in time. Can't tell you how much I love that idea.

I have read the notes from the previous mission and as we know, the most important thing is that we do what we need to do but that we don't interact with anyone from the previous timeline. According to what I read, a previous Buffy was on this mission so you may see her but it's important that she doesn't see you. It's especially important that she not see our Buffy. Once we get going, we can try and figure out how to ensure that doesn't happen.

Edmund, your brother was on the mission before so make sure he doesn't see you because he won't be expecting you to be here.

Shania, your mother was on the island gathering intel. The mission took place in January of 2017 and you arrived this past December if I remember correctly so even if she saw you, she wouldn't know who you are but it's best that she not see you. And of course with that whole Force thing it might be hard for her not to know you're here. But would she be able to tell if it was a particular person or just know someone with the Force is here? This is way beyond my experience but if we have to, we can keep you on the boat with me since I'll be trying to keep everything running.

If anyone needs anything, please don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know the answer, I will find you an answer from somewhere. As Becker said, we're keeping communications with our time as limited as possible. He assures me that our families will be told that we're gone for a week so no worries there.

We'll talk more once we set sail and make an outline of who needs to do what. Let's do this and get our butts back here.
