I didn't participate in the bake off I heard was going on today, but it did give me the urge to bake up a few things. If anyone wants any of the food, feel free to come get it. I've got a whole lot here that'll feed more than just me and my roommates.

Okay, so, um... I apparently stole a lot of stuff yesterday. I had no control over it... but I think I returned everything today. If I didn't, please tell me. My mama would be so disappointed.

PLOT: ONE CHARACTER EACH has sticky fingers today, everywhere they go they steal something...

I'm not sure what got into me yesterday or even how I managed to steal so much stuff. I've spent today returning everything I took, but I still feel like I should apologize to everyone.

So... can we not do that again? Ever. I've got enough history to last me a lifetime, I don't need a whole new life mixed in with it.

People were playing checkers at the riverwalk today. I couldn't help but join in. Turns out it was a tournament. Didn't win, but I had a lot of fun.

Plot: Riverwalk Center has a checkers tournament today! 10 CHARACTERS find they just have to join in on the fun!

I was given a book a few days ago by a stranger, I didn't have chance to read it until last night and I finished it in one sitting. If you get the time to read The Martian, do it. There's a lot more to the book than they put in the movie.

I could be persuaded to let you borrow my copy.

Well, listening to music on the radio is out today. And here I usually just get sick of bad ads.

Can you believe we're halfway through August already?!? Locklyn and I decided we'd end the month with a luau, because you can't end the summer without one of our famous parties, right? Right! Everyone's invited, so get out your floral shirts and your grass skirts and get ready to get leied!

In before my aunt says 'for fuck's sake kid get some art instead of war' (and she will), I kind of need to know if she's going to drag me to another gallery opening before I can unpack.

I just kind of wanted to relax, maybe fix the roof. Is there anything art going on? Please say no.

With it being the first Friday of the month, tonight kicks off another 4-week adult art class session at the rec center. We still have three spots available, each week being a bridge to a more advanced design, focusing on the beginning drawing/sketching stages and moving forward to a final painting. Supplies are included in the full payment, each session is 2-hours, from 6-8pm, and I am sure to focus individually on each and every person throughout the session.

We're focusing on animals for August, but September will feature live models - which I am taking applications for now!

This is not the BYOB session, fyi. That's the second Saturday of every month, from 7-9pm, at the rec center, and walk-ins are welcome then. We usually have 30 spots for 21+. The last time, it devolved into everyone drunkenly painting genitals on canvas, so who knows what's in store for the next one!
