Ah, Atlantis. My apologies to anyone my husband and his friends kidnapped today, they were quite persistent that several of us needed rescuing! It's not wholly different from being married to him, because I often do need rescuing by him.

My team needs medical attention too. Jekyll glitched, and Daisy’s in decent shape, but the rest of us will need help.

I wanted to check in with the status of our rescue mission. We had a few snags at the start, between a nasty storm and a bit of tricky navigating. Today, we found and were tracking a COS agent -- the bastard disappeared into a tree, which then exploded. We've got a few plans we're working through now, but it's at least a lead.

We're getting there. We'll get them back.

Between cookie competitions, baking with children, children, holiday foods, gatherings, parties, more baking, stress baking and stress eating... I need to get back into shape. A shape that isn't round.



But also I may be dead from trying to run. Never again. Running is for being chased, not fun. This one isn't for me.

Someone come fight with me, please. Fists, weapons... anything'll do! I'll even buy drinks afterwards.

Mm, much as I love receiving gifts, I think this winter coat is Atlantis' way of telling me I ought to suck it up and accept that this cold is permanent.

At least it's a flattering coat. Don't mind me as I grumble, though.

On the positive side, Aveline has decided that I am a good option for warming up, and has deemed me worthy of sitting on my lap. This is certainly the closest any Aveline will ever come to touching my body in a half-affectionate way, alas.

Doesn't look like these powers are wearing off any time soon, and I can't hermit forever. Okay, what I mean to say is that I miss the bars. Bethany's been helping me keep a better conscious control over my movements, because who knew that being lithe and graceful is similar enough to dancing that I can subconsciously control things (without meaning to).

So, help me socialize without inadvertently making people do things they wouldn't normally do?
