So, our beloved Edmund the Just finishes a quarter of a century tomorrow and I thought we should make the occasion. Rather than subject you all to my cooking, which still needs some work, I figured we could take over a section ofone of the restaurantsOld White Lion at 7 for dinner and some celebrations. Thoughts?
I don't suppose I could persuade you to take tomorrow off, could I?
Sooooo after talking to Reyna about learning to change diapers, I went out and got some dolls for everyone to practice on. Fastest one gets ... the title of best aunt/uncle? First dibs on babysitting? I don’t know - I’ll leave the prize up to Edmund and Reyna to decide. I just thought it’d be fun for everyone to get to do this together.SUSAN + LUCY:
OR is this a good baby shower game? Is there going to be one for them?
Apparently some nurseries have themes? You know my vote will be purple and gold. And whatever heraldry you want. It's not too much for her, is it?
I'm feeling kind of restless, like I want to get out of the city for a little bit, even if it's just for a few hours. I know, I know, I can do that any time. BUT I can't bring my girlfriend with me when I fly, so what do you say to a hike soon? Tomorrow? Saturday?PEVENSIES (minus Susan) & CASPIAN & MIA:
Susan's birthday is in a few days. Dinner?WENDY DARLING:
It's a beautiful day out today, and the wind isn't bad at all! Do you want to go flying?
After the blatant hinting, it only seems appropriate to go out for ice cream sodas. Friends and teammates are welcome.
Okay, boys, where do we start?
Should we come up with a team name? I’m up for an actual tattoo, by the way. I have ~ideas~ already.
You don't have to be okay. I just want you to know that. Even if you're doing well with counseling or talking or whatever ... if you need to be somewhere you don't have to talk, I'm happy to just sit with you. And we don't have to say anything.
Ed, when you eventually read this, I want you to understand that I'm incomprehensibly proud of you. Your behaviour has reminded me of that Kipling poem ...If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
Reyna, Peter, Lucy, Julie ... darlings I'm sorry.
>>I'm an idiot.
>>Help.
Sooo, funny story. I was at home, one of my professors is letting us do the online class thing so no one's out and about unnecessarily and all that, and afterwards I got up to make lunch. Sat down on the couch, and I must have dozed off, which isn't strange on its own. But then I woke up in your closet. Not on the floor, but on top of one of the shelves.
