[OOC: sent yesterday about 1700, after this and a conversation with McCoy]So far, things are going well. The warp drive was repaired quickly enough that we were able to get to the star system where we believe COS agents are hiding, but we are deliberately slowing on the rest of the repairs, though they're all the nonvital ones. If the Enterprise is attacked again, she'll be able to defend herself and fight back. Commander Tucker is just as much a legend as I've grown up hearing.
Our team and the crew of the Enterprise seem to be getting along well. There have been no signs of outright hostility and there seems to be quite a bit of "Oh my God, we're in space!" on our side, which helps. Captain Archer has invited the teams to dine with senior staff, which will help with getting the teams to cooperate better, I believe. I do not forsee many problems with our teams working together.
One note: when the initial call for the mission was put out, both Leonard McCoy and Christopher Pike asked for the shuttle to be held. Both were told no. McCoy immediately said it was fine, said he would be there, the conversation continued as normal. Pike went from using friendly terms to use of my former rank in Starfleet, and I have found out that he continued to pressure his fiancee to try and get married after I said I would not hold the shuttle for them. I am concerned that sending both Pike and Christine Chapel on this mission was a mistake, though I was not fully aware of how much until after the fact. Advice?
