Don't think, however, because I lost several inches and pounds, that training will be light. This body gives us the opportunity to cover a wide variety of different combat scenarios.

Dinner and drinks at the Three Broomsticks to celebrate?

So, uh. Hi. My name is Eliot, most people call me El, and in the future version of Atlantis I run a weekly D&D group. I figured I should extend an invitation to anybody who wants to give it a go or anything here and I know it sounds bizarre, considering a lot of people are actively going on missions and scenarios where they have to fight monsters and shit like that, but it's an escape from life that a lot of people back home really enjoyed.

I would want to start with a small-ish group at first, but I can maybe stretch to running two groups a week if there's a huge amount of interest? I want to be able to give everybody and their characters as much time and attention as possible without stretching myself too thin as a Dungeon Master.

For people from other worlds who don't know what D&D is: It's a tabletop roleplaying game where basically you build a character based in another world. We essentially put that character (in a group) through different scenarios, battles and tell a story that everybody builds together. If you're still lost (I'm used to people having a vague understanding of D&D existing which some of you might not have) there's a link here that covers the absolute bare-bones basics, but if you're interested I'll teach everybody how to play and explain a lot more in depth in-session. I also know a few other people here know the core mechanics and can help teach you all.

It would either be at my house or held at Coffee Me Better with free coffee provided by yours truly either way. I promise it's a really fun time and I'm willing to work with anything you throw at me as your long-suffering DM.

I can't stop flipping people off! It's like my fingers have a mind of their own, I'm sorry everyone. I swear I don't mean anything by it. My mom taught me better and my dad would have this really disapproving stare, it's like I can feel them being disappointed right now. But I can't help it!

Pay no mind to the hands! I think I'm just going to stay above Atlantis as much as possible today, so I can avoid people. This kind of sucks. And today had started off so nice with that e-Card.

I should've known being on an island would mean islandy things, but swinging through trees still has nothing on a city. (I definitely totally still pretend I'm Tarzan, though.)

I just had an entrepreneurial idea I wanna run by you. As you know, I need cash for my drum kit among other things like... bits and bobs and baubles, probably. You might need some too! So I thought, Valentines Day is coming so what if we started a 'web' delivery service for presents and cards and stuff that caught the person exactly at the time and place the sender chose instead of just when mail services work, and we delivered stuff other than cards and flowers too, super in secret because we can web sling down like Tom Cruise in that movie? (and also because we can throw stuff safely)

Guess what I found! It's almost as good as a dragon. In ten days time, we will be enjoying a holiday here in Atlantis! For those of you who, like me, aren't familiar with many holidays, it is a day dedicated to the power of love, and it's called Valentines Day. Or... Valentine's Day. I'm honestly not sure. I did some research on it, and it appears as if Valentine was some sort of holy man in his day, but honestly all that bit was a lot of reading and I got bored so you'll have to look up the rest of that if you'd like some history because I definitely didn't stick with it. But the holiday dedicated to St. Valentine is wonderful! It's a celebration of love, which I think is so essential. In dark and uncertain times, there's nothing quite so reassuring as knowing that there's someone or someones out there waiting for you to get home, is there?

From what I can tell, the main colours of this holiday are pink and red. There are lots of images of lovers gazing into another's eyes, beautiful small paper artworks with embroidered lace, and somewhat bafflingly, what appear to be winged babies wearing poorly-constructed diapers shooting people. I'm not sure what that's about. Perhaps it's to remind us that life is fleeting and that we should love while we have the opportunity before babies kill us with tiny arrows? I've also discovered through the research that wasn't historical and dull that people are supposed to give one another chocolates or cinnamon candies on Valentines Day, love letters, roses (or other flowers), and send anonymous letters of love to their crushes. So if you're single, this is still a holiday that you can benefit from!

I'm very excited about Valentines Day. It seems optimistic and fun and lighthearted, and with the days being so short and spring seemingly so far away, I could use the distraction.

Hello. I wanted to suggest, with the recent COS activity, that we meet to discuss simulations and opportunities to prepare agents using advanced simulations that include our multiple specialties.
