Hi Atlantis!

I'm Tilly and I'm new here! Well, Sylvia. Sylvia Tilly. But everything calls me Tilly. But that's because we use last names in Starfleet. Do you know what Starfleet is? I don't think there is Starfleet here, but there are people from Starfleet. Which makes this seem like maybe it's more than just a bad trip on the mycelial network or a really crazy dream. or some bad drugs. Which is unlikely because since Captain Pike came onboard we haven't really had time for any parties and he's not the kind of captain who I think would be fun to run into hungover. Not that he's a debbie downer or anything... I nearly broke his hand on his first day.

Anyways! Right! Tilly. Or Sylvia. I've been assigned to work in science which should be fun. I mean, I like science. And math. I'm more of a theoretical engineer, but engineering is science and I've worked in astromycology so I think I can be a good fit for science.

Taisia - you're my new roommate! My last one ended up being a goood friend so I hope we'll be friends too!

Lieutenant Stamets! I didn't forget yuo! They said you were here! Are you here? Where are you?

I am being punished I see. Was it the matrimonial bliss? If this is the price I pay to keep Leonardo here with me then I will submit. But not without complaint! I cannot possibly escape this enclosure when it takes four hundred years to get anywhere.

If anyone happens to see this bird flying around Atlantis, I guess it’s kind of mine? I mean, is that what it means when you sketch a bird and it literally comes to life right out of your sketch pad and flies away?

Just when I was starting to think Atlantis had been ignoring me lately.

But you know what, I think I'd rather wake up like this than wake up in my 70s again. As hot as I was then, really wasn't fond of all the joint aches.

I still find it surprising that my best friend and my fiancé share the same birthday. It does, however, make for planning a party much easier, or one might argue more complicated.

It's hard to keep to Lent when you're not in a place that you can feel appropriately comfortable to go without, particularly when you are not sure what without might be. As it is, I suppose the mission did my choosing for me. I was glad to go without the limits I'd placed on myself and glad to lend a few fists to beat back the COS. To the team who hosted me, I am thankful for your deferential treatment and your kind ability to trust a blind man.

Thanks to everyone who came out to my pre/post birthday celebration the other night. It's always strange being a leap year baby... only getting to celebrate your actual birthday once every four years. Thanks, Keith for organizing it.

But it got me thinking - what are my options for flying around here? I mean, the pegasi are... an experience, but they don't respond quite the way a ship does.

it appears my good friend Sara Ryder and her "complicated beau" have departed. I don't believe she would have left without telling me beforehand so I must conclude it wasn't by choice. Either way, this saddens me. I shall miss her. I daresay I shall miss her frustrating Mr. Vidal as well.

I suppose people have a drink in these times? I'm not too opposed to a glass of Port by the hearth in honour of dear Sara, if anyone cares to join.

I would say I’m sorry for the show I gave my coworkers earlier today, but it would be a lie, and I’m trying to be truthful here. More truthful, in any case.

It’s a pity not everyone is as open and accepting of themselves and of other people. We shouldn’t be ashamed of how we look. There’s nothing wrong with the naked body! It’s quite beautiful if you ask me. But apparently work-appropriate attire requires actual attire. Most of the people I worked with at home wouldn’t have objected! ... but then again, most of them were dead.
