I
just finished taking part in a war, and I really wasn't looking to get involved in another. So I have a question to ask those of you who have made the decision to stay here. What made you decide to stay and help with this cause?
I'm fully aware of what little I've been
told, but I really need more information to support my own decision on the matter. Whatever opinions you people might have would be anecdotal evidence at best, but this still strikes me as a reasonable enough place to start.
Lieutenant Commander Paul Stamets, by the way, and I've been assigned the role of lead scientist, should I decide to stay here. My specialty is astromycology, but I'm
very well versed in plenty of other disciplines. I might as well get that introduction out of the way now so I don't have to waste time on individual greetings.
