Someone had said the phrase "Never Tickle Sleeping Dragon" soon after my arrival, and while with some dragons I would certainly agree, right now you could tickle Temeraire to your heart's content and he won't budge. He's going to enjoy a lie in now that we've returned from the mission, please do ignore his snoring.

To all of our comrades on this one, be aware that he most likely considers you "crew" now. Don't be alarmed if you start receiving shiny gifts.

To the attention of Medical and Magical departments: We had a bit of a problem at the vegetable market this morning. A young fellow asked me if I were Chinese or Japanese and then promptly had his lips sewn shut by an unseen force. I am accompanying him to medical now; he is quite distressed.

Ah, Atlantis. My apologies to anyone my husband and his friends kidnapped today, they were quite persistent that several of us needed rescuing! It's not wholly different from being married to him, because I often do need rescuing by him.

I have never particularly sought leadership positions, but I must say it is quite heartening to be in a place where a man with a name and color such as mine can be called Commander. I shall, of course, do my best to rise to the occasion and serve both my department and the people of Atlantis well.

Does anyone else here celebrate the lunar new year? I enjoyed having a very English Christmas, and I would also enjoy having a very Chinese New Year. Since most of us are far from our homes and families, it seemed proper to reach out to the community at large.

Previously, if I celebrated at all, it was under the auspices of someone else's home, but I thought I might enjoy attempting the dumplings myself this year. Should any of the rest of you have interest in ringing in the Year of the Pig in Chinese style, let me know, and I will plan accordingly.

There are a fair number of Atlantis-related excuses for rescheduling your court date, considering where we live. We understand if you or your lawyer or the judge get transported to the moon or locked in a haunted house unexpectedly. 'Atlantis changed my clothes,' is not an acceptable reason.

It became increasingly obvious through this morning's training session that I seem to have come down with something. If Mr. Tharkay is a willing host or available for a few hours, Aerial training may still take place, but I am unfortunately not able to stay upright at the moment.

I apologize to anyone that was startled by Temeraire and his affinity for sticking his head through open windows and doors without warning in Medical. Neither of us are fond of illnesses due to a rather nasty brush with one in our past. Please pay him no mind if you hear him going on about the possibility of a "human plague".

Good evening. My name is Loki and I'll apparently be living with you all if I choose to stay, which I likely will. I could absolutely do with a break.

I heard there are some familiar yet unfamiliar faces around here. The Multiverse is a complex thing that I'm not gonna question, but judging by my past and future selves, you may have questions. Go ahead.

I might be the most mundane person in the house but I'm hosting a night where we binge the current series of the Great British Bake Off, which we totally all missed in the other world where I was in like, the best and most healthy relationship Let's not think about that.

For the uninitiated, it's a show where people bake every week and it gets judged. It gets surprisingly heated and often unintentionally hilarious. This is a fairly annoying but reasonable catch-up of the show.

Right then, this place is new. Rather glad to have stumbled upon you lot before we ended up back here, though. It's nice enough having a reasonable knowledge of some of you.
