[TVD / TO / LEGACIES-VERSE]

One thing I've enjoyed about my time in Atlantis - I've been able to solve problems, sometimes multiple ones per day. The thing about mechanics is that most things want to be fixed; they want to run smoothly and do the job they were made to do. I won't call it simple but it lacks the complexity that so many of us face back in Mystic Falls and New Orleans. It lacks the complexity that the COS brings us here.

It allows me to feel like I belong. It allows me the breadth of affection and good humor. But more than that, all of you allow it. So, I wanted to say thank you. If you're free tonight, let's get together. A simple dinner with no schemes, no motives, nothing about the COS or what's happening in our other lives. Let's just be together.

P.S. Thanks for dealing with me when I was high.

Hey Atlantis, next time you want help with whatever bullshit you've got going on, maybe text a girl first? The whole magic-coin-turned-teleport is way overdone. I'm hoping you at least have done me a solid and brought my daughter here, too? She's small, quite mouthy, loves chess. Ask her dad about that last one.

It is always nice to wake up to a new outfit. Can't say the shoes go with it or are something I'll ever want to wear, but the rest isn't bad.

We're spending the night in, but family dinner this weekend?

I remember when I was younger running around yelling about how I was late, everyone was late and how we all needed to be on time.

I didn't know it was going to become a reality like it did yesterday. In some ways it was a really good reminder of some good times with my Mom.

Before everything kind of went to hell, Caroline, Elena and I started talking about hosting something cool for everyone and we've finally worked out the details and set a date, soooo June 29th we'll be taking over Trocution to host a Decade Dance! The theme is Earth in the 1920s - if you don't know what that means, I'm sure you won't have any shortage of people ready and willing to help you shop!

No one plans a party like Caroline (and us!), so we'd better see you there!

This is cold comfort; I miss Liv and I'm not at all happy she was sent back. We haven't had a loss in quite a while and I just wanted you to know if you need someone to talk to, I'll listen.

Important information about sunscreen, as we go into summer, please remember to put on sunscreen!

• Go for a "broad spectrum" sunscreen, it should be on the label. Like everything not EVERYTHING is created equally, so make sure you get the best you can!
  
• Do not go for the SPFs 2-4, it's crap and it will not protect you.
  
• If you are outside for more than 2 hours, REAPPLY! It's really important to reapply for your skins health!
  
• Don't be dumb and use sunscreen to create body art, that's just not the way to go!
  
• Did you know that most people ONLY apply 25-50% the recommended amount of sunscreen, so don't be shy about putting what feels like a lot on! If you need a buddy to help, grab one.
  
• Yes, I know I said as we get into summer, but we really should be wearing sunscreen every single day, no matter what the weather!
  
• Don't forget the tops of your feet and your ears!
