Interesting story:

I was taking a walk, working on a project problem, when I "felt" someone behind me.

That someone was a polar bear. A polar bear that followed me down the beach and wouldn't leave me alone until I scratched behind its ears.

I think I was hoping this would only last one day, but apparently not. I apologise if my appearance has alarmed anybody.

EDITED: I've just had a horrible realisation that I am going to require a lot of assistance with feeding and maintaining the menagerie that is my suitcase. I can give instructions, but I cannot really prepare meals for the animals, nor can I check their health. Is anybody available to assist me?

I can't say I'm enjoying this experience nearly as much as I did the time I was a tiger.

I scarcely know what to say however I feel I should at least introduce myself properly. I am Thorin Oakenshield, son of Thráin, son of Thrór, King under the Mountain. I am of the dwarven people of Middle Earth.

I've never been so absolutely relieved to see my creatures safe and sound.

I've been considering running some classes on magical beasts and both their nature and nurture, if anybody would be interested? There are some I'm happy to bring out but also some who should remain in their enclosures for their safety and others' safety. I think my Thestrals may appreciate spreading their wings, though.

Well, one thing I'll say about that place... it felt nice to have a family again.
