You know how I can tell it's a Monday? Being run down before the day even starts, then it just drags on and on. You know, I'm usually really motivated at my job. I even got a battery and I don't think it's helping. And it sounds really bleeding dumb now that I've been thinking about it and writing it down.

Three days til the official first game of the season! We're currently only announcing the games one month at a time, though I hope to have a game every weekend as we get into the swing of things. Trying to project too far in advance runs the risk of Atlantis wreaking havoc on any plans, so we're going to roll with it as best we can.

BUT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - I need you all to finalize your team colors, names, mascots, and all that within the next 48 hours. Teams 8 and 5 especially so we can rush your uniforms for Saturday's match. Any team that hasn't completed this process by Friday evening will have their details selected by yours truly (though I promise to be gentle). If you'd like to just skip the wait and have me select for you before then, say the word.

Dinner and drinks at the Three Broomsticks to celebrate?

GOOD MONDAY MORNING, ATLANTIS.

For those of you who've not noticed some of the signs posted around the city proper, here's your official reminder that our first Atlantis Quidditch match is this Saturday, the 16th. I hope you're excited to see the... Pegasus(?) vs the... Lynx(?) [gentle additional reminder for team captains to please finish your team names and such?] -- Team 8 vs Team 5. Doesn't quite have the oomph I was hoping for, but EXCITEMENT, because it's Quidditch.

Now if you'll excuse me, I seem to have spilled my drink and oh Merlin it's the worst feeling, I don't know what to do. oh great, now I'm crying. It's overwhelming because of the Quidditch, right? Or is it the milk? .. it's definitely the milk

I can't stop flipping people off! It's like my fingers have a mind of their own, I'm sorry everyone. I swear I don't mean anything by it. My mom taught me better and my dad would have this really disapproving stare, it's like I can feel them being disappointed right now. But I can't help it!

Pay no mind to the hands! I think I'm just going to stay above Atlantis as much as possible today, so I can avoid people. This kind of sucks. And today had started off so nice with that e-Card.

Guten tag, my friends. Please call me Angela, though I will answer to Dr. Ziegler if you are more the formal type. Honestly, I will respond to a fair number of things, so long as they're polite! I arrived today and have already situated myself in the medical wing. The scientific approach to things here is greatly appreciated and I already feel it is quite the step up from my labs in the basement at our old base in Gibraltar.

I'll be reviewing medical files as quickly as I can, but if you have any pressing medical needs or someone to talk to, my door is open immediately. If you have not had a medical review or checkup in at least six months, please also see about scheduling one. If you're not certain as to how, please let me know and I can schedule it on your behalf. I welcome new challenges, and look forward to working with Dr. McCoy and the rest of the medical staff. I just had an entrepreneurial idea I wanna run by you. As you know, I need cash for my drum kit among other things like... bits and bobs and baubles, probably. You might need some too! So I thought, Valentines Day is coming so what if we started a 'web' delivery service for presents and cards and stuff that caught the person exactly at the time and place the sender chose instead of just when mail services work, and we delivered stuff other than cards and flowers too, super in secret because we can web sling down like Tom Cruise in that movie? (and also because we can throw stuff safely)

This snowstorm is brutal, kind of feeling bad for anyone who has to go out and work in this mess. I think I'm gonna go offer to help deliver the mail today and help out those mail carriers that can't zip around like I can. Assuming I can help - you don't need like a special license to pitch in on something like that, right?

I had expected to put in a more personal challenge, but I seem to have an issue with walking today.

I trust I'm not the only one unable to walk normally today. Well, at least I can walk, so I suppose I shouldn't complain too loudly.

I take mild comfort in knowing I am not the only one left to wear nothing but this wrap of bubbles today. However, having to wear multiple layers for the sake of decency has made it rather difficult to move around comfortably. Now I must weigh the joy of popping the bubbles against the need to apologize for noises when I sit.
