By now, you all will have received the news that we've lost Jim Captain Kirk. Command has asked me to step up and fill his position and I've accepted. With the reorg this morning, we're all going to be getting used to a change, so I will be scheduling trainings over the next couple of weeks, both one-on-one and as teams to help everyone get used to each other and prepare for whatever your next mission ends up being.

If you have questions or concerns, my door is always open to you.

Today at 1400 hours, we intercepted a distress call from the Enterprise NX-01. Further investigation has revealed that they were pulled to this world by an unknown force and are under attack by COS. She's won her first battle, but just barely and they need our help.

Carter, you're leading the Atlantis teams going up. Andor, I want you as her second. I'd like both of you to meet me at command in 30 minutes so I can brief you on what to expect and we can talk strategy.

The rest of you, the shuttle leaves at 1600 hours.
