The menu is set, everything else is in the works.

I know it's hard to focus on the positive right now right after the war, but I think it'll be good for Atlantis to see that we have a future.

Someone want to help me figure out what to do with this garden I planted the other day when I thought I was a cartoon rabbit? At least little Neal got a kick out of playing in the dirt.

That and the carebear. Why does Atlantis think I'm some kind of mother hen?

Do you think giraffes feed people carrots? Or what if they don't like carrots and don't like being stuck on mugs. This morning I woke up and had this thought. What if we're all living inside of someone's weird fantasy of what all our worlds meshed together might look like? If we're these fictional people then what's stopping someone in another world completely from using us as their puppets? This could all be a lie and even life in Atlantis is fictional. Think about it. What makes a place real? It may be real to us, but that doesn't mean we're not part of some cosmic TV show prank. Move prank. Book prank. Video game pranks. Hahaha that's a lot of pranks. Pranks writing our stories instead of us. Not like Choose Your Adventure. What's really the meaning of our lives if we don't get to choose our own adventure? If TV show me was a con man, why can't I write myself IN the TV show to not be one? What if I wanted to be a fireman? I could've been a good fireman. Or a water slide tester. That's a real thing, you know. I could have totally been a water slide tester. What if my life would have been completely different had I followed the path to become a water slide tester? Would I still have tried stealing them? Copying them for my own gain? Can anyone really change their stripes? I'm not sure. Once a con, always a con. Realities are fuzzy. Puppies are fuzzy too. Hahahaha fuzzy puppies. Can I have a fuzzy puppy? I want a fuzzy puppy.

Waffles. Can someone make me some waffles? Blueberry ones. With bacon. And juice. I like juice. Juice is really important. Don't forget juice.

I don't think I'm coming into work today. Need to research Atlantis water slides. And fuzzy puppies.

Just a general reminder to everyone to cross the street at the crosswalks and remember to look both ways first. If you're driving (or riding) always wear your seatbelts and drive within the speed limit - slower in bad conditions. If you have little ones, make sure their car seats are properly installed. Feel free to come by the police station for a car seat check, if you're uncertain, and we can make sure the seat is well secured. It's not just about traffic laws. It's for your own safety.

Atlantis set me up on a date with one of my patients a few weeks ago. Talk about awkward.

All the french onion soup seems like it would be more fitting to a cold day. I keep getting tempted by it.

I am still stunned I didn't break a million things yesterday juggling everything. I did smash up a pear that landed on the floor, luckily, my youngest son found it to be hysterical. I'm sure the grown-up one would have laughed as well.

PLOT: ♆ - ONE CHARACTER EACH has a bizarre urge to juggle everything they pick up today.

It's strange, how you can know you have a child (or more than one), have seen her grown up and as an amazing woman , and yet being pregnant just feels like this vague hypothetical situation... until your body starts to change and the baby starts to move. I suppose it's no surprise that she likes to move a lot, but it is one of the strangest feelings I've ever known.

Which is to say, knowing your future is very strange.

One of the doorknobs from yesterday really enjoyed giving me opinions on show tunes, and now I can't help but want to see a few musicals.

I’m still not really convinced this isn’t all just a very vivid dream, but hi, I guess? I’m Neal. Someone convince me I’m actually not going crazy.

As most already know tomorrow is Saint Patrick's day and there is, of course, going to be a party.

For anyone with kids I've worked with some of the best sitters and they've all agreed to watch the kids together at our home, drop your little ones off and come enjoy the party. There will also be a booth set up at the party that you can check in on your kids during the night should you wish to.

Don't forget to wear green.

I'm glad life in Atlantis has somewhat started to get back to normal - whatever normal life in Atlantis is anyway.

Tomorrow is Pi day. I strangely look forward to this day every year. Maybe it's the pizzas.

The topic today (which you’ll probably ignore because humans are dickbags when it comes to the environment and anything to do with actually keeping the world running effectively) is the wetlands.

So. Who likes water? Well, the wetlands help fill the sources of 82% of your drinking water (if you live in America on earth, that is). Boom: save the wetlands.

Who likes not drowning? Wetlands help store floodwater to keep it from breaching into towns and cities along waterways. Boom: save the wetlands.

Who likes not swimming with garbage? Since (again) humans are dickbags when it comes to the environment and anything to do with actually keeping the world running effectively, pollution is a big deal. Wetlands have natural filtering capabilities that help keep waterways clean. Boom: save the wetlands.

Who likes food? Wetlands provide food like cranberries, blueberries, fish and rice. Boom: save the fucking wetlands.

And that brings me to the most important reason: these cute assholes live in near wetlands. You may not care if the world comes hurtling to a fiery end, because life is a mystery and time is an illusion, but those little things deserve more.
