Ugh. I feel... like i've hit my head.

January 2nd Gwen's room • Late evening PG • Complete Finally talking to each other and making a decision

( Everything that's happened lately... I've been doing some thinking. )

I didn't mind the room swap, especially since now I'm rooming with one of my best friends. But being woken up by an excited four year old literally leaping on top of me was definitely a shock.

So yes, Captain Jack's now rooming with the Cooper girls over in Tower Two.

I require a sparring partner. Fighting with two blades is still new to me, so I must practice. And I find keeping one's skills as up to date as possible is generally a good idea. I must add that I practice with lightsabers, so if there are those who wield them and are willing to spar I would be grateful. I can switch to regular blades however, so my offer is open to anyone with a mind to offer me their aid. I am also willing to practice and spar unarmed.

How long do I have to wear this ankle jewelry? It's clashing with my outfits.

I think last evening might be the best Christmas I've had since Molly's first. It was completely unexpected and wonderful.

I got engaged last night. (And Gene got his car.)

Do we have any plans for New Years yet? This is of course assuming that something doesn't go wrong or right... Depending on your view.

Happy Christmas to all of you. Try and stay warm with some cocoa, hot apple cider, or whatever. I plan on enjoying my day off with my new fiancée.

I am gonna try to throw a Christmas party soon, on Christmas Day. Since Christmas Eve is for Anwen.

We're both completely healthy. Exhausted, but healthy. Dimitri is making me get some sleep, but I hope I'll be seeing you all soon. Preferably with a cheeseburger or something. Hospital food is gross.

Some of the things you can find in the shops here are pretty interesting. Yesterday I saw a really rocking chair. Literally. A chair carved out of rock. ( Cut for Image )

Evidently, it's a reproduction of a chair used in Pompeii around 79 A.D., before the volcano erupted. I don't know if I'd want one, but it is cool.

I'm more interested in is this returning from the dead thing. Is this something all of us ought to expect every time somebody bites the big one?

Steve's pretty beat up. I didn't even know he could He's being sent straight to Atlantis for medical. We did what we could for him here and I think he'll be okay, but it's not good.

All these advent gifts are starting to pile up. Yesterday I got a toy robot, but today's notebook could be pretty useful. Is it supposed to be a diary? To write down all the adventures I'll have while I'm in Atlantis? Isn't that what the Network is for?
