It seems my armor is getting a break today. If I didn't know others received an outfit, I'd be worried Atlantis was trying to tell me something about my wardrobe.

But I was never good at them. I'm John.

The idea of this network is baffling yet simple at its best. It is a means by which people can communicate openly or secretly as they see fit. It is both rewarding and alarming at the very same time. I have been debating whether or not I should utilize it as a resource or as a means of communication. Therefore, I have chosen to settle for both for the mean while. In this instance, I will utilize it as a resource.

My role here is to serve as a scientist, though lately I have been serving as an officer of Starfleet. I have been serving as such as a bodyguard for my Captain and those who seem most important in my life and will continue to do so until my assistance is no longer necessary. It has given me plenty of time to observe the ways of life here. We have no understanding of the thing that brought us all here, other than some magical coin that we all seemed drawn to. We have all agreed to fight in this war, as I have, as well. I would not change my decision.

However, I, for one, am curious to understand the logic of this world. A world where we can be uprooted overnight, where even those who are light of sleep such as I were not woken by the movement. How is it that some of us are chosen to fight in a battle whereas others are not, yet we all agreed to sign up for this war?

Has anyone else given any thought to the force behind all of us being here and what might happen?

I'm starting to understand that these antics are typical to life here in Atlantis. Just as much as I'm guessing that voicing my displeasure with being moved in the middle of the night is a waste of time?

I do not understand. The answer I am giving is correct. However, it is still not letting me inside the building. Any building. And, it is far too cold to be stood outside in the snow.

Am I missing something?

I require a sparring partner. Fighting with two blades is still new to me, so I must practice. And I find keeping one's skills as up to date as possible is generally a good idea. I must add that I practice with lightsabers, so if there are those who wield them and are willing to spar I would be grateful. I can switch to regular blades however, so my offer is open to anyone with a mind to offer me their aid. I am also willing to practice and spar unarmed.

How long do I have to wear this ankle jewelry? It's clashing with my outfits.

If this message truly goes out to everyone, I have some questions I'd like answered by someone other than this thing if I'm even really speaking to anyone.

Is everyone here from another realm? If so, were you brought here by an enchanted coin? And is it really true that we can leave if we choose?

I prefer to pick my own battles, rather than be recruited into someone else's.
