Save Atlantis RPG

I've heard a lot of weird things from people coming in wanting to report a crime but "HELP! SOMEONE STOLE MY PEACHES" is a new one on me. After asking if she meant a child, a dog, a cat or another kind of pet she screamed at me that they were "PALISADE PEACHES AND SOMEONE STOLE THEM."

Turns out her husband put them in the car without her seeing it.

Okay, so, in a noble bid to make up for the sentient ooze that I inadvertently created in the station's coffee maker yesterday morning, I thought I'd head to Starbucks and buy a bunch of venti-coco-caramelattos or whatever you people like to drink. I show up, I place my order, I get one of those travel tray things, I knock over only one display instead of all of them, everything's going great, and then --- the lights go out.

They've been out. For at least forty minutes. So I cancelled my order (the baristas apologized profusely but it's no one's fault, just freak bad luck) and instead of providing you vultures with coffee, I instead have with me the absolute motherload of pumpkin bread and cake balls. Healthy stuff.

Sorry, Breckentale PD. The gods don't want you to have good coffee.

Attention: Local cop up to his ears in paperwork and in desperate need of an espresso con panna. Will somebody save him from station house coffee? And throw in a baked good of some kind? Stayed tuned to find out.

P.S. Whoever made the pot of dreck in the breakroom should be investigated for assault.

I got through today without tripping over anything or injuring myself again, so I'm going to assume that whole run was just Atlantis really enjoying Friday the 13th. Bad luck aside, we discovered a hidden treasure, so well done, everyone.

Would anyone care to explain why the hell a scarecrow is following me around? It's not even Halloween.

First things first, I'm fine. I'm in medical, I have a hell of a headache, but I'm okay.

I'm trying to talk to the doctors, but I think I'm out for the day.

I like veggies, I do. But this is insane. I've got more carrots than any three people should eat.

I took lessons on how to make chocolate chip cookies today. Some of them are burnt, but I gave the good ones to Augustus before the keepers realized it.

I'll bring the burnt ones home to eat.

I can't say I've seen people running around in their underwear like this since college.

Where did you end up?

Looks like the storm has passed. Team 14, we're joining May and Johnson in the cave to see if this thing fits in that hole we found. All our intel points to this being some kind of COS site, so be ready for a fight.

OOC Notes

As a reminder, yesterday Team 16 + Tenel Ka was captured by COS during a supposed exchange. Dyson left Daisy & May up in the mountain cave they'd been exploring while he and Jake came down to help figure things out. Luke Skywalker, Emily Fields & Mordecai Roberts brought them the "emerald key" to get in, but there was a storm last night preventing them from going up.

Today, DYSON + TEAM 14 + JACOB ENJOLRAS head up the mountain and manage to make the emerald key work, once inside they must make it past a few traps before engaging in battle with 10 COS agents. Winning, they discover the hostages tied up in various positions in a large room.

Which means hostages will be back in Atlantis City this afternoon. Any seriously injured will of course be transported directly to medical!

By now you've all seen the message on your tablets and you're understandably worried about your friends and family members. We're still gathering intel, but we do have the Atlantis PD and some base personnel working on the case and I promise you we will find them.
