Yo fam so here's the thing: We do need to give John a re-do of his birthday because he didn't really get to party too much and some of us may have eaten his cake that doesn't matter right now.

Lorna and I agreed to get him a multi-tiered cake because, well, he's earned it. And I thought we should just throw him a party, but I don't think he'd want a big thing and I don't know if we're all up for that anyway, so maybe we'll do a small thing at home?

Needs to be soon though because all these holiday parties and stuff are coming up.

Great apparently Atlantis is so into me being a mom it's giving me PTA meeting outfits now.

I wanted to ask you before I put this to the rest of the family. If I told you that I was thinking about staying in this time, would that be a problem? I'm pretty sure you'll tell me no, of course not, that you'd love to have me. But I'm also asking you to don't feel you have to, because maybe you're not ready for the whole 'we have a kid' thing beyond a Christmas in Atlantis lark.

But, even family aside, which is a huge aside, I think I could be a lot of help in the war. And please don't tell me you don't want your kid to have to fight in a war. You trained me and my abilities for a reason, so But mostly it gives me a chance to get a jump on the music scene. That's important. That's why I'm up, by the way. Couldn't stop thinking.

As we've discussed when I first arrived, my powers overload, fry everything in the vicinity, and kill me. It's a real Christmas downer. While I anticipate everything returning to normal upon my resuscitation, please mark my time of death and keep an accurate count of how long your pain returns. I need that data for my research. Your pain will stabilize upon my awakening.

In the interest of not killing everyone around me, Thor has agreed to assist me with mitigating the damage of the explosion.

Well, I've burned cookies, I've decorated the weapons with greenery, I've set out a lot of candles and warm blankets, and I've enjoyed opening up the little advent calendar every day. Am I doing your Christmas right?

I'm glad others aren't too stubborn to ask for extra help when it was sorely needed. Yeah, I've decided to stay. I was offered a position here that I really couldn't turn down. You're looking at (reading from) the new Director of Sports and Recreation. I'm going to be working with Benjy Fenwick and Katie Bell, my new Quidditch Ambassadors (I can assign titles, I think) to get a Quidditch League started, so expect sign-ups soon! I'll also be working on getting some other sports started. I've got a list. I'm checking it twice.

Soo. Any tips on introducing yourself to a dead parent? If I start reading now and skip a few meals, I should get through all the books here in about...

Hi. I'm Teddy. I hear I've been here before but I don't remember it, so hopefully you lot are alright with reintroducing yourselves. If not, well. I don't blame you.

I adopted a puppy, because there are a lot of sad ones in the shelter and we're being careful not to give any to people who want to give them as Christmas gifts. He has a weird paw, which we're acknowledging because it's part of him but not focusing on because we don't have to. I was going to name him Weird Paw, but I clearly have crappy experience with names so I got talked out of it. I'm calling him Squeak because it's the sound he makes, and it's a better dog name.

He's really cute and small.

Also, speaking of names, mine is now Fray Waugh legally. Eliot's letting me share his name, which is really nice and I'm very pleased about.

I know there are lots of things going on with Marina's shade and Penny's hands and all sorts of other things I've seen, but I can't really help in any of that because I don't have magic so I'm just... hoping for the best? Good luck.
