Soooo like, I've never been to a dance. Ever. My parents were never around when I was little for the father-daughter things my school did and then I just wasn't in school at all after that and I've never even been on a date or school function and the more I write this, the more lame I sound, great.


Say you want to ask someone to the dance coming up, but you have no idea how? Or how to people, at all? Tips? Advice? Please help me.

If only Guy Fawkes had known that all his brilliant plan would achieve was an excuse for hundreds of years of merrymaking at his expense.

I'm looking into altering our team training for this week. It's been a refreshing to have a full team of capable magic users, but given recent losses and the fact that COS has shown themselves capable of nullifying magic, I don't want to grow rusty. There may be times we need to face a magical opponent without magic of our own.

Being nine years old again was far stranger than being fifteen. My teenage self could be impulsive, but I'd learned how to be polite by then.

I've been thinking about something. It may be foolish, but being him that age again, along with something Su said, reminded me. The others aren't here, but there are a few still in Atlantis who served on that mission to Narnia two years ago December. Likely it won't have the same meaning to them, even if any are interested in coming, but the Friends of Narnia haven't met for some time.

I never thought I would find a book about myself. Especially not here. But I'm grateful I did, or I'd probably still be in the Library now and have missed the bonfire!

It’s pretty weird/amazing to think I’ve been here for two years now. I still miss home sometimes, but I have to admit Atlantis has really become home, too, and there are a lot of people I wouldn’t know now if I hadn’t come here.

I guess Atlantis decided we were both too gorgeous to be off the market.

I counted it up yesterday and I realized that I've been here a year an a half, give or take a month. I've been very lucky and Atlantis gave back to me something that I thought was gone forever and a life I never thought I'd get to have. In a few months, we'll be adding a new baby to the family and I feel very blessed.

Still though I always feel bad when the lists come out and I see the names of people that I know and care about on them. For the first time, my daughter say a name on the list, her best friend and it broke her heart. She knows there's always that chance, she understands only too well how life works sometimes but it doesn't make it hurt any less. I wish there something I could do to take that pain away but there's not. I didn't make her go to school today and I didn't go to work. We stayed home and watched her favorite Disney movies and ate popcorn. It won't bring Demora and Sulu back but for a little while, she didn't hurt so bad.

I'm sorry. I know you'll miss them as much as we will. For what's it worth I thought the two of you were great together and I know Demora loved you. You are still part of the Starfleet family even though it's not as big as it used to be and you can come over any time. Lauren really likes you too so I think that might good for her.

The talking animals thing, though? And then I asked a guy for information and he tried to sniff my ass. Is that a cultural thing?

Today, our walk after work took Louis and I through the zoo. In what I can only assume is a combination of the animal-switching and meeting a lion for the first time, he has now declared himself a lion cub and is primarily communicating in roars.

It's very, very cute.

Please, if you see us out, react accordingly to what is clearly a small lion at my side.

Can we be done with parties???

No wait can we be done with food and drink that makes you do weird shit you cannot come back from? this is important.

Um also apparently I need to take off work again to babysit a bunch of pets, a number of which might or might not be people. If anyone would like to come over and sedate a puppy stuck in a grown ass man's body so he'll stop trying to smell, bite and lay on me that'd be nice.

Edit: a) Has anyone seen Alicia Spinnet walking around very doglike? b) Anyone got a tranq gun I can borrow I'm serious.

I've got a lot of intel and documentation to read through over the next few days, but I'll be reporting to the base security office as Head of Security tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting everybody here and adjusting, always welcome advice.

Already pretty adjusted to military life, I lead a peacekeeping organization back home called Overwatch, been career military. Doubt I'll have any trouble fitting in around here.

I think I was hoping this would only last one day, but apparently not. I apologise if my appearance has alarmed anybody.

EDITED: I've just had a horrible realisation that I am going to require a lot of assistance with feeding and maintaining the menagerie that is my suitcase. I can give instructions, but I cannot really prepare meals for the animals, nor can I check their health. Is anybody available to assist me?

New month which means... NEW MOVIE NIGHT!

Any suggestions on what we should be watching this month? And since there seems to be no mission around and everyone's here, we could even do TWO movie nights.
