In the first panel, I love the fact that Albus is hidden behind Minerva, burying his face, even as he touches her. It certainly adds to the clandestine feeling of the piece. She has a quietly confident look about her, and - ahem - a firm grip ;-)
The eye contact is lovely in the second piece; they seem to be very honest with one another. In particular, I think you have captured Albus' features very well, here - he has a lovey patrician nose, and the hair and beard seem spot-on.
Your backstory makes great sense, too. It chimes with the way I thought of these characters in my story, 'The Reluctant Phoenix', so I was delighted to see that you conceptualised the teacher-student relationship here as emotionally quite complex.
