Oh my god, this was incredible. It's beautiful, so very beautiful. I love the conection Moody and Luna had. It came so vividly through your writing, I could see and understand how Moody knew this was a special someone, a very special someone. He cared and she knew he did, since forever. It's funny to say it, but he did see her, you know? And I love that's what the eye represents for Luna, at least I think it is, someone she doesn't have to hide from.

I loved that you included that no one believed her when she told them that wasn't the real Moody, it's amazing because Moody would have believed her, you know? I love that .

I loved the idea of Luna's dad and him being friends. It makes sense the way you wrote it, that they would have these conversations and they would be so animated and varied in the topics and Luna listening and learning.

God, so many parts I loved.

She found herself trying to see things the way the eye did. To really focus on people, to see beyond them, beyond their facades and shallow outer workings, to see what was inside.

“Any sod can do magic; wave a wand, mumble some Latin, but real magic, the real power of magic, the real power of life itself, is imagination.

She pulled the image of him to her, his nose caressing hers, his eye never leaving hers, never blinking, never stopping the search for all she couldn’t say.

She could have him there in her mind and no one could take that from her. She could have his eye exploring her, and she could open herself up to him, body and soul, and she could have that, have him, because he’d already given himself to her ages before.

With her fingers she guided him, showed him where the mysteries lay.

I love that for all it's sad that Moody died, the ending is almost playful, and I think it's comforting thought that for Luna he's not gone, he's not gone at all, you know? Not in the way of 'people who we love never leave us' but clearly for her it's something deeper, more unique, exactly like her. Beautiful!
