I was so happy when I saw you'd written Harry/Pansy. I adore your Pansy! She's of course drop dead gorgeous, I mean seriously, your description of her is mouth-watering, but she's also a beautiful combination of tough and vulnerable and unflinchingly honest (when she's not lying right to Harry's face, haha). I love this: She'd built a career, a business, and a solid life for herself after the war, and that hadn't been easy. Not after her turn as such a stupid twat in that war. But there was healing. People forgave her. She forgave herself. And your Harry is so sexy he's to die for. I love the tilting balance between burning hot sexual/emotional yearning and the bittersweet ache of might-have-beens against laugh-out-loud comedy lines and moments. (Masturbating pickles! A pack of socially awkward snorkacks, bwahaha. "What. Why are you talking?" (which was hot too, but funny. *g*) And Al's bookending scenes. :D)

And it's just such a basically happy story, it made me feel warm inside to read. There is such an everyday, no-fuss goodwill and generosity in the family and friendly relations, not unrealistic perfection but endearingly messy and so much love in-between the lines. Harry and his kids, Harry and Hermione, Harry and Ginny, Ginny and Hermione, Ginny and Oliver (okay, Oliver only had a few perfect mentions, but I love Oliver and god I love your Ginny. *g*) And Pansy, Hermione and Ginny with all the water safely under the bridge and all of them grown-up enough to realize it, which feels simply lovely. <3

And I really appreciate how you're so good at tying the apparently throwaway little details together (for instance Harry once having bought that pickle painting, which is revealed at exactly the right moment) which makes your stories feel so cohesive and satisfying to read. Also, the sex scenes were inhumanly hot, but that goes without saying. :)
