HOLY FUCK, that was so hot and amazing and SO well-written. I admit I can be super picky about daddy!kink -- I'm either all in, or all out. If a character says the tiniest wrong thing, I'm so embarrassed for them and squicked and have to click away and bleach my brain, lol. Which is all a horrible way of saying THIS WORKED FOR ME, OH YES IT DID.
The quiet writing and superb pacing is really what makes this story so spectacular. Harry is everything here, and with barely any dialogue. I know we're in Teddy's admittedly biased POV, but that didn't matter: the way he (and you) describes Harry is so perfect. The casual ease at the Weasleys, the wine sipping, the quiet glances -- which makes it all the more burningly sexy when this quietly powerful man pushes a brief, filthy Legilimens image at Teddy in front of everyone. a;lksdjf;lsjkdfl;skjf. I love how you painted a picture of their relationship for us that way.
And the Legilimency itself was so beautifully done. Not over the top, which is so important. Just used at all the right moments, and as someone above said, for their own reasons. Everything was so beautifully subtle -- I felt Harry's pain and guilt so acutely, but not because you rammed it at us. Rather, because it was mentioned so lightly, but powerfully. IDK, hard to describe, but so very effective. Totally loved every word of this, MA! So gorgeous and filthy and fantastic.
