This fic was delightful. You hit so many wonderful beats. Their dialogue, especially, was fantastic. The banter and play was right up there with how I like these two. Excellent work there, made me grin in several places.
Draco imagines his late father standing to the side and criticising his performance with a Muggle-born witch - This line made me snicker right into my soda. I'm totally picturing Lucius holding up points cards and taking a point off just because Muggle-born.
Draco making up the bit about the blindfold was a good giggle, and I'm glad Hermione got him back with her own "you'd have known if you'd studied" attitude. Nice give-and-take there. And then Hermione's idea of how to seal all the Malfoy properties? Well, that's just fantastic. Life is indeed good.
