Wow, somehow this has a sense of warmth, comfort, and familiarity and a feeling of tense, desperate uncertainty at the same time. Like they have this long history and their eventual coming together was inevitable, yet fate is fickle and the wrong move could undo everything.
I love the idea that Charlie sees Tonks as being full of colors. There's always the emphasis on her hair, of course, and sometimes color coordinating her clothes with her hair, and all of that makes it easy to forget that there's color in everything -- especially the things that are most vivid to us on a personal level. And this: She was naked except for her boots. Her hair was cerulean blue, her mouth was dark burgundy, and her tits were a work of art... Great lines!
