One thing I enjoyed about writing the fic was trying to get across the openness of Harry's heart and the way he doesn't have any false pretense, so I am thrilled his characterisation worked for you.
You're spot on with the 'pride' too - the title was obviously inspired by Pride, but it was also intended to be a reference to both Draco's pride and subsequent inability to make himself vulnerable to Harry, Harry's pride in his sense of self and courage of his convictions, both in Draco and in love generally, as well as in the activist sense. I'm really chuffed that came through.
