Well done, MA! Thank you so much. Minerva/Severus is my het OTP, and I love seeing it done with such a fine balance of their strong personalities. I like their give-and-take of dominance and submission, just what I would imagine for them. The role reversal here makes good sense: I can see both of them needing healing that the other can provide -- Severus in the years before the Battle, Minerva after. In my head canon, Severus is not blameless in the DH year, but I can definitely see why the dynamic of this story works for them so well.
I love the physical details, how Minerva's age is merely a fact about her that doesn't either fetish-ize her or render her unattractive to SS. The discipline is beautifully described, as is the tender aftermath.
