Oh man. I love the little things in this, like the attention to Lavender's scars, and the tidbits about prior years and how long this has been going on. But most of all, I love the end, how all his thoughts slam back in when Hermione quietly tells him that she's having the child he isn't even sure he's ready for. The inevitability isn't what I always think of them, but at the same time, it really works and I can see it. Hermione is such a force of nature, and Ron will always return to her, no matter how hard it gets. Well done.
