I really liked this! It's a more morose version of Ron than I'm used to, but I like that about it. His angst feels very real, especially regarding his relationship with Hermione. And I like that Lavender wasn't just a floozy; she came across as someone who was quite caring and even good for him, to let him have this once a year. And their chemistry together was fabulous! :)
