Wow, thanks so much! The wartime scenario you develop is incredibly tense, from that opening scene on the train onwards, and Narcissa has such a great understanding of how to manipulate people by appealing to their desire to protect others. Their performance of the duel in public is a fantastic scene - I could see it clearly in my mind's eye - and such a Slytherin maneuver to protect Minerva from a confrontation with the Carrows by staging a fight herself. I love how Narcissa's deception is woven through the story and Minerva's reluctance or inability to see that, because she's almost too Gryffindor for her own good. I love this :-D
