Sadly, I'm too swamped up to my eyeballs to leave the long comments that all the KK pieces deserve or to tell you all the things that are awesome about this piece in particular. But I do want to note one or two things, and short is better than nonexistent, so...
What immediately struck me as great about this story is the fact that we don't need an explanation as to how Draco came to be good friends with Harry and Neville. Part of that is just due to the fact that the fandom has been around long enough for 546801465 fics detailing all the possible ways to have already been written, and we're just willing to accept the possibility. But mostly it's because you write the comfort and intimacy surrounding them and the precise dynamics operating between each of them so damn well that the reader just thinks, "Yep, uh-huh, that's the way it is." Every little look, gesture, and remark sells it completely. Superb interaction all the way through, and the roles than each of them begin to fall into in this triad are so perfectly them.
