The period voices are spot on. I want to know a lot more about Hester (I believe the word you want is scoundrel) Gamp and her home life with Sirius senior. All the little throw-away details like the captive fairy-lights are perfect. Present-day Sirius and Remus are well in character too (and the green Christmas candle waxplay is delightful).
