Oh, I love this! Gosh, the comments above mine are already so smart, articulating just why the characterizations work so very well here. It's this amazing line between OK father-son stuff and possibly not OK, but as vaysh says, that line is always so panicky in our culture. So I love the sense of ambiguity here in Al's feelings -- they're not quiet sexual for his father, but there is definitely something there, some closeness he feels that clearly his brother and sister don't. IDK. Anyway, la, loved it!
And GOD ALMIGHTY, the way Sirius was charmed into the collar in such gorgeous, subtle ways just sealed the deal for me. The whispers, the stubble, the breath, the rougher fingers... just a perfect way to do that. Any more details than that would have been hitting us over the head with it, I think; this was so beautifully, quietly erotic. And what entrenous said about Harry having been the same age with Sirius as Al is now... *shivers* What a unique premise this story has!
