You know, in a time and age when all interactions between parents and children that even remotely deal with sexuality are so fraught with fears and dangers of sexual abuse, this was such a refreshing take on the subject. I love how curious Al is, and how much he cares for Harry. The way Harry reacted to walking in on Al was so realistic, with Harry so awkward and paternal and ultimately so concerned that Al didn't feel he did anything wrong. I never got the impression Al harboured any kind of fantasies about wanting to sleep with his father, but he rather wanted to know more about Harry, and thus put himself in his shoes - so to speak - and masturbated with the collar. The magic of the collar was awesomely described - I was envisioning that Sirius left it for Harry before he went to the Department of Mysteries that fateful night.
